Triple Grip

Triple Grips offer an alternative to nailing or other methods where it is necessary to join two pieces of timber. They may be used to secure roof trusses to wall top plates in order to satisfy the requirements for the structures built to withstand cyclonic wind loads.

Available in 6 profiles, including left and right hand. Triple Grips are made from 1.2mm galvanised steel.

Quick and easy to install, more effective than skew or end nailing and have necessary strength to ensure transfer of load forces across the joint.

Application

  
Triple Grips are typically used for the following applications

1. Connections of roof trusses to wall plates
2. Connections of rafters to wall plates
3. Connection of hip and jack trusses to truncated girder

Fixing

A minimum of ten (10) Multinail 30 x 2.8mm nails must be used to fix each Triple Grip for full tabulated values.
